Infections

Infections often occur while the perforation is very cool. Micro-organisms such as fungi and bacteria trying to invade the body, causing infection. The body reacts and tries to fight off infection by surrounding it with white blood cells. Often there is inflammation and perforation will be sore to the touch and flow thick, brown, green or white excrete the location of the perforation. The compresses can help, if used at the onset.

If the infection is left unchecked, then drilled may require antibiotic treatment.

Do not remove the jewelry as this can trap the infection inside the body and then the infection can move further inside the body, infecting major organs and tissues in its path. Perforation of infected cartilage, for example, may differ between the layers of cartilage, destroying the cartilage causing it to become literally the entire structure of the deformed ear. Infections in a nipple piercing could move in the mammary glands causing mastitis, which often makes the breast red, hot, painful, swollen and shiny, and there may be pus from the nipple.

There are more general symptoms such as high fever, chills, muscle aches, nausea and vomiting. These are often related to symptoms of flu. However the possibilities of appropriate procedures involving real dangers are small, there is a small possibility that all the problems left untreated will interfere. Obviously there are many descriptions of infections and their terrible effects, and although it may be prudent to know, they are sufficient to say that prevention is most often better than treatment. Knowledge, with gaps, increase just a little more confusion, talk to professionals.

Hypersensitivity to metals

Many people are sensitive to nickel and because this sensitivity has increased in recent years some governments have chosen to adjust the purity of metals used in piercing. Use hypoallergenic metals, regardless of your sensitivity, is recommended by obtaining a piercing.

Hypoallergenic metals are less stress on the immune system trying to heal the perforation, which increases the possibilities of healing. Your piercer should ask you about any sensitivity to metals to which you would be allergic before perforation. Too many customers do not know themselves if they are hypersensitive to metals, much less what metal is in their piercing. To be honest, there is a responsibility shared by the client and piercer, borer, and it should be the first to raise the issue of sensitivity. If you've never noticed any skin irritation from prolonged contact with a metal, then you can assume that you are insensitive to it.

People who react with metal plates, buttons on jeans, can assume that they may have an allergy to nickel which is common. A European Directive is where the piercing used in the first piercing, must contain less than 0.05% nickel, and slightly higher for the piercing to use once the piercing is healed.

Marks

The skin tissue heals rarely match the surrounding tissue. It heals in a variable thickness in different ways for different people and different kinds of "damage". You should know that it is likely that any piercing you have worn for a significant time (months / year) will leave a scar if it was removed. But many users looking shocked with disbelief, with the notion that their skin will not heal until the initial shape of the surrounding areas. It is entirely acceptable for a person who has doubts about getting a piercing should reconsider the reason before obtaining it.

Perforations oral form scar tissue that resembles a "joint circular white around the site of the perforation. The scar usually recedes after a month or more. If he does not retreat, or as in the case of some perforations language, the scar may develop on the length of the jewel. You should see your piercer, GP or dentist, but regularly use a saline mouthwash may help healing.

We can say that a perforation heals in ideal conditions marking the minimum, or "normal", because no further aggravation occurs. Perforation or even obviously fresh and old who was prevented or pulled with enough force to rip the skin will form an additional scar. There are many natural ways to treat and traditional brands. Some prefer oils such as Tea Tree Oil, oil Germseed, and extra virgin olive oil to treat the scar, while others prefer the salt solutions natural sea regularly applied to the scar .

Stretching and associated problems

The stretching of a perforation describes a process that enlarges the diameter of the crack. This means, literally stretching the tissue that holds the punch so that a jewel thicker (larger) can be worn. The location of the perforation is an important factor in its "health" in the long term.

If a perforation is near the edge of the skin, and the tip enlarges the perforation so that the skin thins the edge too, it could become so thin that the blood could no longer move. The skin is fragile or prone, she could divide. In these circumstances, it is often the case that the breakthrough to see their doctor for stitches and then hopes that the skin re-heal properly, and consistently.

Sometimes, when an extension is performed too soon after the previous one, the subsequent stretching can result in a "blowout." A "Eruption" is an effect caused by stretching the tissue that has not healed to his natural thickness. It appears as a flap which extend from the fistula, a soft tire, which consequently gives the name. The immediate reduction in the size of the jewelry can help the tissue to recover consistently. The pure olive oil or vitamin E cream on the "rash" (combined with reducing the size of the jewel, or remove it) could help the skin heal.
